God Bless's us with a building!

The blessings are still coming! D'Lane and Myself decided we would need a storage building to bring out to the land, along with our camper. This would be used to keep the washer, dryer, deep freeze and the kids school room. Also we wanted to install a small bathroom and shower as the ones in the camper are very small for a BIG guy! We set out on various journey's looking at different buildings and prices. After looking at the cost of these buildings it didn't take long to realize that with the money we had we would be getting a small building. Something along the lines of a 12'X12'. After spending several days looking at buildings we found the one God wanted us to have! We were talking to one of the old ladies about our vision for our family and the urgency of our plans. So she said she would sell us her 3 year old building which is a 12' X 30' for about the same price as a 12' X 12'. D'Lane and Myself just kinda starred at each other for a minute to see if this was really happening again? We told her we would get back with her today and let her know of our decision.

The difficult thing was we wouldn't have the money for the building until we sold our house. We pondered different ideas about what we would offer them,  to get them to let us have the building before we sold the house. D'Lane told her a few ideas we had and she stated that she would like to speak to us in person with her husband.

Sorry for the poor image quality!  I (Shelby L'Rae)
just snapped these pictures with my phone and thought
Uncle Henry would like them on his post!
Mr. Vernon stated he didn't want any money up front, as long as we would sign paperwork stating we were going to give them the money upon closing of the house. He opened the building and let us walk into it so we could really see how big it was. After we walked out he hands me the keys and says to give him a couple days and he will clean it out and deliver it  out to our property. Not only will he deliver it, but he will set it up for us, block it up and level it for us. D'Lane and Myself just stared at each other not realizing what just took place, again before our eyes! After we sat down with them and filled out all of the paper work, they were eager to hear more about what we are doing and our Christianity. We went through many topics ranging from our Multi-Generational vision, child training, farming and taking it to the nations. Now we have a storage building that is 1/3rd the size of our OLD house!

To God be the Glory!

Our season ON Covenant Acres Begins!!!

 After much prayer and hard work our journey to Covenant Acres begins!!

Proverbs 29:18  Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

After much studying God's law word on many aspects of our life, we continue to follow the path of obedience to His law! We decided early on that if we were going to shorten our children's learning curve, it would take drastic steps on our part to begin our vision!

This is not for most families........................or is it?

 Our journey would begin with selling our house (1098 sq. ft.) city home and moving into our thirty four foot R.V.  No it will not be an easy task, with three children under seven, most would say it is impossible! But scripture teaches other wise.

Luke 1:37  For with God nothing shall be impossible.

It was through much prayer that we cultivated the vision of taking back farming and bringing reformation to this area of our culture. I will post more on this as we transition to the farm!

Upon sitting down with our realtor and them doing a market analysis of the homes that have sold in our area, everything came back that we would not make very much off of our home. However we sold it way above market value!!! The Lord placed a number on our hearts and that's what we listed it for! In the housing market we are in now, one would think there is no way we would sell our house above market value. Well the house was on the market for eleven days and it sold! After a few minor repairs, we had to wait upon the termite inspection and a home inspection. Neither of the two found and significant problems with the house, which was built in 1962.

  Deuteronomy 28:1-2  And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

God blesses obedience and curses disobedience! Father's must re-evaluate their vision and purpose for their families! Read Deuteronomy for more on this.

Our ceiling should be their footsteps!

Our journey continues.........

The Church has lost her testimony

 “The church has lost her testimony. She has no longer anything to say to the world. Her once robust shout of assurance has faded away to an apologetic whisper. She who one time went out to declare now goes out to inquire. Her dogmatic declaration has become a respectful suggestion, a word of religious advice, given with the understanding that it is after all only an opinion and not meant to sound bigoted.” - A.W. Tozer
In response to and agreement with Bro Scott Head's post "the church has lost her testimony".
She has become introverted putting on the attire of big business and run by the elite businessmen. She walks in reproach and without power. Yet the Lord says "...the gates of hell shall not prevail against it". Who then is this strange woman?
Proverbs 2:16-19 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the COVENANT OF HER GOD. For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
Proverbs 5:1-8 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding: That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth. Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:
Proverbs 6:20-24 My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.
Proverbs 7:1-5 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.
Proverbs 7:24-27 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

So could I offer for your consideration that God's Word speaks of a counterfeit, emerging, adulterous and idolatrous woman?
My family and I are a small part of the catholic church, the Bride of Christ who is pure, holy and preparing herself for the marriage supper of the Lamb; not the rapture. Wanting and needing to restore the chastity, integrity and moral standards of our Lord and King Jesus Christ in accordance with His Word.
I appeal to you to come out from her who has subdued you with her flattering words and humble yourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from your wicked ways!
May God have mercy on our endeavors as we give Him glory in EVERYTHING that we think and do.

The Church Walking with the World

The Church Walking with the World

The Church and the World walked far apart
On the changing shores of time,
The World was singing a giddy song,
And the Church a hymn sublime.

“Come, give me your hand,” said the merry World,
And walk with me this way!”
But the good Church hid her snowy hands
And solemnly answered “Nay!

“I will not give you my hand at all,
And I will not walk with you;
Your way is the way that leads to death;
Your words are all untrue.”

“Nay, walk with me but a little space,”
Said the World with a kindly air;
The road I walk is a pleasant road,
And the sun shines always there.

Your path is thorny and rough and rude,
But mine is broad and plain;
My way is paved with flowers and dews,
And yours with tears and pain.

The sky to me is always blue,
No want, no toil I know;
The sky above you is always dark,
Your lot is a lot of woe.
There’s room enough for you and me
To travel side by side.”

Half shyly the Church approached the World
And gave him her hand of snow;
And the old World grasped it and walked along,
Saying, in accents low:

“Your dress is too simple to please my taste;
I will give you pearls to wear,
Rich velvets and silks for your graceful form,
And diamonds to deck your hair.”

The Church looked down at her plain white robes,
And the at the dazzling World,
And blushed as she saw his handsome lip
With a smile contemptuous curled.

“I will change my dress for a costlier one,”
Said the Church, with a smile of grace;
Then her pure white garments drifted away,
And the World gave, in their place,

Beautiful satins and shining silks,
Roses and gems and costly pearls;
While over her forehead her bright hair fell
Crisped in a thousand curls.

“Your house is too plain,” said the proud old World,
“I’ll build you one like mine;
With walls of marble and towers of gold,
And furniture ever so fine.”

So he built her a costly and beautiful house;
Most splendid it was to behold;
Her sons and her beautiful daughters dwelt there
Gleaming in purple and gold.

Rich fairs and shows in the halls were held,
And the World and his children were there.
Laughter and music and feasts were heard
In the place that was meant for prayer.

There were cushioned seats for the rich and the gay,
To sit in their pomp and pride;
But the poor who were clad in shabby array,
Sat meekly down outside.

“You give too much to the poor,” said the World.
“Far more than you ought to do;
If they are in need of shelter and food,
Why need it trouble you?

Go, take your money and buy rich robes,
Buy horses and carriages fine;
Buy pearls and jewels and dainty food,
Buy the rarest and costliest wine.

My children, they dote on all these things,
And if you their love would win
You must do as they do, and walk in the ways
That they are walking in.”

So the poor were turned from her door in scorn,
And she heard not the orphan’s cry;
But she drew her beautiful robes aside,
As the widows went weeping by.

Then the sons of the World and the Sons of the Church
Walked closely hand and heart,
And only the Master, who knoweth all,
Could tell the two apart.

Then the Church sat down at her ease, and said,
“I am rich and my goods increase;
I have need of nothing, or aught to do,
But to laugh, and dance, and feast.”

The sly World heard, and he laughed in his sleeve,
And mockingly said, aside-
“The Church is fallen, the beautiful Church;
And her shame is her boast and her pride.”

The angel drew near to the mercy seat,
And whispered in sighs her name;
Then the loud anthems of rapture were hushed,
And heads were covered with shame.

And a voice was heard at last by the Church
From Him who sat on the throne,
“I know thy works, and how thou hast said,
‘I am rich, and hast not known

That thou art naked, poor and blind,
And wretched before my face;’
Therefore from my presence cast I thee out,
And blot thy name from its place.”

“...you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you
from the peoples, that you should be Mine.” Leviticus 20:26

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers.  For what fellowship has
righteousness with lawlessness?  And what communion has light with darkness?
And what accord has Christ with Belial?  Or what part has a believer with an
unbeliever?  And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?  For you
are the temple of the living God.  As God has said: ‘I will dwell in them and
walk among them.  I will be their God, and they shall be My people.’

Therefore ‘Come out from among them and be separate,’ says the Lord.  ‘Do
not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.  I will be a Father to you, and
you shall be My sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”  2Corinthians

Christ's Sleepless Vigilance Over His People

"Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age!" Matthew 28:20

What an exalted and endearing truth, is Christ's sleepless vigilance over His people! Imagine yourself threading your way along a most difficult and perilous path, every step of which is attended with pain and hazard, and is taken with hesitancy and doubt. Unknown to you and unseen--there is One hovering around you each moment . . .
  checking each false step,
  guiding each doubtful one,
  soothing each sorrow,
  and supplying each need.
All is calm and silent. Not a sound is heard, not a movement is seen; and yet, to your amazement, just at the critical moment--the needed support comes--you know not from where, you know not from whom! This is no picture of imagination--but a divine reality.

Are you a child of God on your pilgrimage to paradise, by an intricate and a perilous way? Jesus is near to you at each moment, unseen and often unknown! You have at times stood speechless with awe at the strange interposition on your behalf, of providence and of grace--when no visible sign indicated the source of your help. There was no echo of footfall at your side, no flitting of shadow athwart your path. No law of nature was altered nor suspended--the sun did not stand still, nor did the heavens open. And yet deliverance--strange and effectual deliverance--came at a moment most unexpected, yet most needed.
It was Jesus--your Redeemer, your Brother, your Shepherd, and your Guide! He it was who, hovering around you, unknown and unobserved--kept you as the apple of His eye, and sheltered you in the hollow of His hand. It was He who armed you with bravery for the fight--who poured strength into your spirit--and grace into your heart, when the full weight of calamity pressed upon them. Thus has He always been, to His children.

The eye which neither slumbers nor sleeps--was upon you! He knew in what furnace you were placed--and was there to temper the flame when it seemed the severest. He saw your frail vessel struggling through the tempest--and He came to your rescue at the height of the storm!
How has He proved this in seasons of difficulty and doubt! How often, at a crisis the most critical of your history--the Lord has appeared for you!
Your lack has been supplied,
your doubt has been solved, and
your perplexity has been guided.
He has delivered . . .
  your soul from death,
  your eyes from tears, and
  your feet from falling!
You are never for an instant . . .
  out of His heart,
  out of His thoughts,

out of His hands,
  or out of His eye!

Go then, and lay your weariness on Christ!

Take your bereaved, stricken and bleeding heart to Him!

What is your sorrow?
Has the hand of death smitten?
Is the beloved one removed?
Has the desire of your eyes been taken away with a stroke?
Who has done it?
Jesus has done it! Death was only His messenger. Your Jesus has done it! The Lord has given--and the Lord has taken away. And what has He removed?
Your wife? Ah, Jesus has all the tenderness that your wife ever had. Her love was only a drop from the ocean of love which is in His heart.
Is it your husband? Jesus is better to you than ten husbands.
Is it your parent, your child, your friend, your all of earthly bliss?
Is the cistern broken?
Is the earthen vessel dashed to pieces?
Are all your streams dry?

Jesus is still enough! He has not taken Himself from you--and never, never will.
Take your bereaved, stricken and bleeding heart to Him--and rest it upon His heart, which was once bereaved, stricken and bleeding, too! He knows how to . . .
   bind up the broken heart,
   heal the wounded spirit,
   and comfort those who mourn.
What is your sorrow?
Has health failed you?
Has property forsaken you?
Have friends turned against you?
Are you tried in your circumstances?
Are you perplexed in your path?
Are providences thickening and darkening around you?
Are you anticipating seasons of approaching trial?
Are you walking in darkness, having no light?
Simply go to Jesus! He is an ever open door!
He is a tender, loving, faithful Friend, ever near.
He is a Brother born for your adversity.
His grace and sympathy are sufficient for you.
Go to Him in every trial. Cast yourself upon Him every burden.
Take the infirmity, the corruption, the cross as it arises.

Simply and immediately to Jesus!
Go to Him at all times and under all circumstances!

True Gospel

A gospel which is after men will be welcomed by men; but the true gospel of the grace of God needs a divine operation upon the heart and mind to make a man willing to receive into his utmost soul such a distasteful truth.
My dear Brethren, do not try to make it tasteful to carnal minds. Hide not the offense of the cross, lest you make it of none effect. The angles and corners of the gospel are its strength: to pare them off is to deprive it of power. Toning down is not the increase of strength, but the death of it. Why, even among the sects, you must have noticed that their distinguishing points are the horns of their power; and when these are practically omitted, the sect is effete.
Learn, then, that if you take Christ out of Christianity, Christianity is dead. If you remove grace out of the gospel, the gospel is gone. If the people do not like the doctrine of grace, give them all the more of it. Whenever its enemies rail at a certain kind of gun, a wise military power will provide more of such artillery.
A great general, going in before his king, stumbled over his own sword. I see, said the king, your sword in is the way. The warrior answered, Your majesty’s enemies have often felt the same. That our gospel offends the King’s enemies is no regret to us. ~ Charles Spurgeon

Object of regeneration...

May I offer for your consideration today a question to ponder over; What is the object of regeneration?  The answer I like most is found in the Institutes of Christian Religion by John Calvin and he states:

The object of regeneration…is to manifest in the life of believers a harmony and agreement between God’s righteousness and their obedience, and thus to confirm the adoption that they have received as sons (Galatians 4:5; 2Peter 1:10).  The law of God contains in itself that newness by which His image can be restored in us.

The Heidelberg Catechism states that genuine repentance and conversion will effect obedience to God’s law:

            Question 88:  In how many things does true repentance or conversion consist? (Answer) In two things: the dying of the old man, and the quickening of the new.

            Question 89:  What is the dying of the old man?  (Answer) Heartfelt sorrow for sin; causing us to hate and turn from it always more and more.

            Question 90:  What is the quickening of the new man?  (Answer) Heartfelt joy in God; causing us to take delight in living according to the will of God in all good works.

            Question 91:  But what are good works?  (Answer) Those only which are done from true faith, according to the law of God, for His glory; and not such as rest on our own opinion or the commandments of man.

"The man who has experienced God’s gracious regeneration, who has been renewed in his Creator’s image, who has responded to God’s grace with genuine repentance, will have an overwhelming desire to please his Lord by meticulous observance of the law.  Herein man glorifies God and enjoys Him forever."
-- Greg Bahnsen, Theonomy in Christian Ethics, chap 11, pg 234.

My question to you today is, do your actions answer true or false in considering the object of regeneration?

Who is Your Allegiance To?

Have you asked yourself the question lately,
Where are we and How did we get here?
...and yet most of us were born here and educated in the very system that we stand against!

Huh...that's right, we are the one's that have been lulled to sleep by the wiles of the enemy, and educated (conformed by & to) the very system that we detest! Disguised as the necessity for mankind to prosper or in my words, "a state of welfare humanism".

This is not a NEW idea and it did not start with Karl Marx. It is a based on Greek philosophy. Read Socrates (known homosexual), Plato, Aristotle, (better yet read The One and the Many by R. J. Rushdoony) to better understand the dilemma, but you still have to ask yourself the question "AM I PART OF THE PROBLEM"?

The answer is going to be you are either part of the problem or want to be part of the solution, there are no in betweens! There is no neutrality you are either a covenant keeper or covenant breaker.

Yes, I understand Jesus Christ is my all and all...He also says IF you love me YOU will KEEP my commandments. Who is your allegiance to? The state or the Creator God?

TEN PLANKS OF THE COMMUNIST MANIFESTO
(If you think you don't have time to read all of them, read #10.)

Could this be happening in America? If so, how?

Our "elected representatives" have passed laws implementing these anti-freedom concepts. The communists have achieved a de facto FEDERAL SOCIALIST GOVERNMENT in America.
In 1848 Karl Marx and Frederick Engels wrote a book outlining a political ideology, titled "The Communist Manifesto". Marxism's basic theme is that the proletariat (the "exploited" working class of a capitalistic society) will suffer from alienation and will rise up against the "bourgeoisie" (the middle class) and overthrow the system of "capitalism." After a brief period of rule by "the dictatorship of the proletariat" the classless society of communism would emerge. In his Manifesto Marx described the following ten steps as necessary steps to be taken to destroy a free enterprise society!! Notice how many of these conditions, foreign to the principles that America was founded upon, have now, in 2012, been realized by the concerted efforts of socialist activists? Remember, government interference in your daily life and business is intrusion and deprivation of our liberties!

First Plank: Abolition of property in land and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.
(Zoning - Model ordinances proposed by Secretary of Commerce Herbert Hoover widely adopted. Supreme Court ruled "zoning" to be "constitutional" in 1921. Private owners of property required to get permission from government relative to the use of their property. Federally owned lands are leased for grazing, mining, timber usages, the fees being paid into the U.S. Treasury.)

Second Plank: A heavy progressive or graduated incometax.
(Corporate Tax Act of 1909. The 16th Amendment, allegedly ratified in 1913. The Revenue Act of 1913, section 2, Income Tax. These laws have been purposely misapplied against American citizens to this day.)

Third Plank: Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
(Partially accomplished by enactment of various state and federal "estate tax" laws taxing the "privilege" of transfering property after death and gift before death.)

Fourth Plank: CONFISCATION OF THE PROPERTY OF ALL EMIGRANTS AND REBELS. (The confiscation of property and persecution of those critical - "rebels" - of government policies and actions, frequently accomplished by prosecuting them in a courtroom drama on charges of violations of non-existing administrative or regulatory laws.)

Fifth Plank: Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
(The Federal Reserve Bank, 1913- -the system of privately-owned Federal Reserve banks which maintain a monopoly on the valueless debt "money" in circulation.)

Sixth Plank: Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.
(Federal Radio Commission, 1927; Federal Communications Commission, 1934; Air Commerce Act of 1926; Civil Aeronautics Act of 1938; Federal Aviation Agency, 1958; becoming part of the Department of Transportation in 1966; Federal Highway Act of 1916 (federal funds made available to States for highway construction); Interstate Highway System, 1944 (funding began 1956); Interstate Commerce Commission given authority by Congress to regulate trucking and carriers on inland waterways, 1935-40; Department of Transportation, 1966.)

Seventh Plank: Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
(Department of Agriculture, 1862; Agriculture Adjustment Act of 1933 -- farmers will receive government aid if and only if they relinquish control of farming activities; Tennessee Valley Authority, 1933 with the Hoover Dam completed in 1936.)

Eighth Plank: Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies especially for agriculture.
(First labor unions, known as federations, appeared in 1820. National Labor Union established 1866. American Federation of Labor established 1886. Interstate Commerce Act of 1887 placed railways under federal regulation. Department of Labor, 1913. Labor-management negotiations sanctioned under Railway Labor Act of 1926. Civil Works Administration, 1933. National Labor Relations Act of 1935, stated purpose to free inter-state commerce from disruptive strikes by eliminating the cause of the strike. Works Progress Administration 1935. Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, mandated 40-hour work week and time-and-a-half for overtime, set "minimum wage" scale. Civil Rights Act of 1964, effectively the equal liability of all to labor.)

Ninth Plank: Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.
(Food processing companies, with the co-operation of the Farmers Home Administration foreclosures, are buying up farms and creating "conglomerates.")

Tenth Plank: Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
(Gradual shift from private education to publicly funded began in the Northern States, early 1800's. 1887: federal money (unconstitutionally) began funding specialized education. Smith-Lever Act of 1914, vocational education; Smith-Hughes Act of 1917 and other relief acts of the 1930's. Federal school lunch program of 1935; National School Lunch Act of 1946. National Defense Education Act of 1958, a reaction to Russia's Sputnik satellite demonstration, provided grants to education's specialties. Federal school aid law passed, 1965, greatly enlarged federal role in education, "head-start" programs, textbooks, library books.

Five Trees in One Day!

All over our property the drought has taken it's toll on several Oak tree's with one of them being very tall, after much planning we decided they needed to come down. Every time the wind would blow a big limb would fall out of one of them. For the safety of our children they had to come down. When the big Red Oak came down the earth shook tremendously. However we will take that wood and convert it to fuel for heat for our house in the winter.

When Adam fell in the garden of Eden through Autonomy the Lord cursed the ground (Gen. 3:17) and made it very hard to work. Each time I grab a sticker bush, it constantly reminds me of the fall and the results from it. You can't imagine how many sticker vines are on eleven acres of un-improved property in Texas.

However even after the fall and even though the land has been cursed we still have the job to take dominion in every area of life. Whether it be a famous Bulgarian writer, or a man that works in a convenience store, we are to teach all the nations (Math. 28:19).

This needs to start at the family level, the family should be your children's first Garden of Eden on Earth. It should be the safest place they will ever be, this should be there first Church, first school,first job and the list goes on!

So I will leave this to the Fathers and Mothers: is your home your Children's first Garden of Eden?
